My ENT doc called just as I was leaving for court. Now you're probably thinking, man, that's not a good sign when your doctor calls right after looking at your CAT scan even though you had an appointment to see him Monday to get the results. You would be correct. My choices are: try another round of multiple antibiotics, even though none of the ones I've taken over the last 13 months have worked and if they don't, have a more extensive surgery (a Caldwell-Luc procedure) that should correct the problem, but might make it worse. Or go ahead and have the surgery now. My call. I have the weekend to decide. I'm thinking screw the antibiotics, cut my face open like a watermelon. I gots to have me some relief.Even better news is that I'm now taking another round of antibiotics in the interim, as my face now hurts so badly at times that it wakes me up at night. I get to be semi-psychotic again for the next 10 days! Woo-hoo!
