Yippee
The son made it home last night, flight from Memphis was a bit late. We all stopped for a bite of dinner on the way home at the Cracker Barrel. Home cooking without the mess. Had a great time, especially when my daughter's S.O. decided to tell her that he'd went ahead & bought the dirt bike she didn't want him to buy, and it cost $200 more than he had originally told her. The rest of us moved to the other end of the table for our own safety. She was pretty quiet about it, but I wouldn't have wanted to be in that boy's shoes when they got home. My son, being no fool, spent the night with us.He & the daughter are leaving this morning for our old hometown to attend their grandfather's funeral. I have court today, normal juvvie docket, and an adoption (YAY!) at 1, so will be gone most of the day. Then more baking, wrapping Christmas gifts, pick up the grandson tomorrow night at 8 pm, go to my parents on Saturday...it's a busy week.
Whew!
