All have abandoned the homestead save Sollie, Sassy and I. Woe is me...Rita just called from DFW... fighting her way outside to have a smoke...
The Daughter hates to fly. She gets all tense and jumpy...so when the pilot slowed the plane by extending the flaps, the Daughter gasped and Rita looked up and said:
"Uh oh... the pilot must have seen a cop"
Dallas is infamous for its speed traps... and 400mph is a bit over the limit. I wonder if he was wearing his seatbelt? That one's good for an extra $25 here in Arkansas.
