I officially now have one Christmas present bought. Yay for me. I bought some luggage for my son early so I could take it out to him when I go. I'm thinking about buying some for my daughter too so she'll stop constantly borrowing mine. She's such a mooch.Also ran into the new Petsmart to get a snail for one of our aquariums. The salesgirl poked around on all of them and said you know, these don't look too good. We'll have some new ones in tomorrow, why don't you wait til then? Now _that's_ customer service. I shopped around a little, they've just opened recently, and I wanted to see what they had. Bought Solly a fleece jacket and both he and Sassy new chewbones. He has turned into such a little clotheshorse. He LOVES his sweater, but Sassy thinks it's weird and won't stop til she pulls it off him. Which makes him all upset, and has really been hard on the sweater too. I think I've figured it out though. Pugs are companion dogs, meaning they think they're people. To him, mommy wears clothes, so he should too. Akitas are pack animals, meaning they think we are just weird dogs. Mommy wears clothes instead of fur, but she loves me anyway because I am the alpha female of the pack. So when she sees Sollie wearing clothes over his fur, it is not only weird, it is just wrong and she has to correct it.
Or am I just anthromorphizing too much?
