As some of you know, I've a trip planned next week to San Diego to visit my son before he ships out to Japan for a year. Just went to my ear, nose & throat doc since the bug that I've had has triggered another severe sinus infection episode. He wasn't too pleased with the idea of me flying, saying something about my face exploding due to the pressure changes. Well, okay, maybe not _exploding_ but it could cause some problems. I told him I'm going anyway, just wanted to know what to expect. So, Joanie, let's still plan on trying to meet for coffee. Just be forewarned I may not be my usual jolly self.*Sigh* As if I weren't having enough problems dealing with my parents, who are convinced that al-Quada members are just waiting for me to cross the state line so they can kill me. What are the chances they would target my particular plane? Slim to none, I'd say. Besides, I refuse to let fear control my life. They might take me out, but I'll not go without a fight. To paraphrase an old Souix saying, every day is a good day to die.
