Nat'l Ammo Day
Nat'l Ammo Day
Just did our bit for National Ammo Day and bought 550 rounds for my daughter's .22 rifle. I wanted some squirrel shot for my 12 gauge, but couldn't find anything but steel shot and birdshot. When I checked out, the cashier asked if the ammo was for a handgun. Is that some new requirement? (Yes, it has been a while since I bought .22 shells) I thought about telling her no, I'd rather have a handful of rocks, but I didn't think she'd get the joke.UPDATE: I finally found some 3-inch #4's and some 00 buckshot, which brings our total up to 590 rounds. Now if I can just convince Mike he should buy my Christmas present early and get that .45 pistol I've had my eye on....
