Auntie Em Update

Auntie Em Update

Recently received the great news from Auntie Em's parents that they are back in town for a short stay at home prior to beginning round 3 of chemo at the first of next month. Auntie Em is handling the rather aggressive chemo fairly well, and the once 7 lb. tumor in her little tummy has shrunken to golf ball size. (For any new readers, Auntie Em is the barely 2 yr. old aunt of my grandson on his mother's side. She's quite the sweetheart, and has been receiving treatment at St. Jude's for neuroblastoma which has spread to her bones.)

So keep the positive thoughts and prayers headed her way, as she's still got a long way to go. Also, there's been an account for donations set up for them at one of the local Arvest banks. If anyone's interested, e-mail me for particulars. I'm sure they can use all the help they can get, as neither parent has left her side for a minute since this whole ordeal started.
