Trick or Treat!
Court today and haven't been back long. Most of the courthouse personnel dressed up for Halloween, which is always weird until I remember it's Halloween. Everyone has candy on hand for the kids in court & usually the local daycare & headstart kids come by. There was even one attorney who claimed to be dressed as some famous cowboy, I've forgotten the name. But one of the baliffs and the court reporter said he looked like the cowboy from the Village People. He was not amused, but the rest of us were. We were trying to get him to do "YMCA" but he didn't want to talk about it. Everyone asked why I didn't dress for Halloween. I said I did, I'm wearing a lawyer costume. Didn't I look authentic?DSL went down again after I got home, so had to hook up the dial-up. Grrr!
