One of the Tulsa newscasts reported last night that the "officials" were waiting for results of a drug and alcohol screen on this kid. I wouldn't be surprised if something, like meth, shows up. I don't think this was a copycat killer inspired by the Beltway shooter. By all reports, this was a nice quiet kid who suddenly went on a rampage for no apparent reason. This is fairly typical of a meth user, from what I've read and observed. Meth has some particularly nasty side effects, like violent paranoid rampages, and is highly addictive. Contrary to what some people would have you believe, illegal drug use is not a "victimless" crime.Posted by Rita at October 28, 2002 09:33 AM
