More Arkansas Voter Fraud

More Arkansas Voter Fraud

Can't say that this headline surprises me.

"Arkansan pleads guilty in vote fraud"

It's getting ugly here, folks. The Republicans are charging that the Dems are committing voter fraud by registering dead people & businesses. The Dems are charging the Republicans are, gasp, requiring voters to present identification prior to voting and photographing harassing voters waiting to cast an early ballot. (Perhaps to ensure that "One person, one vote" thing, hmmmm?) All depends on whose ox is getting gored, don't it boys?

You see, voters here in Arkansas are required by law to present identification in order to vote. The problem is that it doesn't have to be a photo i.d. You can simply show your registration card, which only contains your name, current address, and voting precinct. Opportunity for voter fraud? You betcha.

Although the present national attention to voter fraud here gives Arkansas yet another black eye, I'm glad we're getting it. Maybe now something constructive will be done to prevent this in the next election. I say "Shame on both of y'all."
