Rename "Shock and Awe"?
I don't usually comment on Dowd's columns....shooting fish in a barrel gets boring after a few minutes. But there was something in today's column that made me giggle. She suggests that instead of calling our bombing campaign "Shock and Awe", the "hawks" should've named it "Operation Who's Your Daddy?"...like that's a bad thing??
I kinda like it. Besides demonstrating the absurdity of a woman her age trying to fit in with the teenage crowd (listening to Eminem is really paying off for her isn't it?), it also basically says the same thing in more modern terms.
So it got me thinking....what would you re-name "Shock and Awe"? Here's a couple of our ideas to get you started.
---Operation Sucks to Be You, Saddam (Mike)
---Operation Now Who My Bitch? (Mine)
Knock yourselves out.

A fine example of how gangsta has permeated our culture...all the way down to country pop singers.

Dowd is even more bitter and jealous. Read today's Rantblog.

I already did, of course. What I want to know is when is she going to use a current photo with her column instead of her college sorority one?

I was hoping for Operation Envelope Please. The operation's start would coincide with the first "Envelope, please" at the Academey Awards.
