Packing Help
We've been packing some things to ship to my son overseas. I keep having to stop & chase Sollie down to get styrofoam out of his mouth.
He apparently thinks it's some new kind of yummy doggie treat. It's like having a short hairy 4 legged 2 yr. old.

We sent a package last week to a son of a co-worker of mine at the courthouse. He's in the 101st Airborne, and I hope he's okay.
I'm sure you already know what to send, but we sent the following:
-- Gatorade mix
-- hard candy & gum
-- raisins
-- spices (to make the MREs more palatable)
-- books & news mags
Has your son told you about anything else? We're going to send another package soon, and if you've heard of any other requests -- such as sun glasses, cameras, sun block -- please blog them.
Thanks, Rita!

Unscented baby wipes & sunblock are the most requested, I hear.
My son's in Japan right now, so this is just some of his things he decided he wanted after he got there.
Hope your friend's son is ok. Many of my son's friends were sent there, but I don't know their units...and just know most of them by their nicknames like "K-bear" so can only hope they're ok. Keeping them all in my prayers though.
