Pro-War Protesters
On our way back from my daughter's new house, we passed by a fairly large group waving flags and "Support the Troops" & "Liberate Iraq" signs....several also had "Honk if you support the troops" signs. They were at a busy intersection, and the honking of the passers-by was almost deafening, as was the cheers from the crowd everytime someone honked. Mike estimated at least 150 participants.....young, old, you name it. Even what appeared to be some ROTC kids. There was several media types there, so maybe there'll be photos in tomorrow's newspaper....and a couple of cops for crowd control. The kids were a bit rowdy in encouraging people to honk.
It was great!
