Emma Grace Update
Little Miss Emma Grace, the not-quite-three yr. old aunt of our grandson, is doing well. Her mom e-mailed this morning that she's finished her 6 rounds of chemo, and yesterday successfully underwent a 6 1/2 hr. surgery to remove a tumor that was attached to her "adrenal vessel" and aorta. They did have to remove an adrenal gland, but her doctor thought her kidney would be fine. She'll be in ICU for a few more days, but barring anything bad in the pathology reports, her prognosis is looking good.
Man, young'uns are tough critters, ain't they? Thanks to everyone for their good thoughts and prayers for her...and keep 'em coming.
