No symbiosis here, mutual paracitism. Geraldo has ALWAYS been anti-conservative and anti-american going back more than 20 years with his support for the PLN. It is a shame only his nose got broken.....This is an indication that FOX is not willing to go with newer, fresh talent.

I cringed when Fox News hired Geraldo as a "war correspondent."

In fact, one could argue that Geraldo's insipid political views are completely consonant with his reporting style. His politics are unsurprisingly simple: he's a typical unthinking product of left-leaning universities in which he's learned that emotions are more important than reason and cliches are more important than facts. His reporting style is generally recognized as tawdry, sensationalist, over the top, and melodramatic.

In other words, his reporting style matches his politics: both represent style over substance, emotions over reason, hubris over good judgment, cliches over facts.

I hope Fox News finally learned its lesson with this latest gaffe by Geraldo and gives him the old heave-ho.

Yesterday was a good day: American forces continued their indefatigable march to Baghdad, continuing to pound the Iraqi leadership and its army, and the American public no longer has to hear the voices of either Geraldo or Peter Arnett ever again. Woo-hoo!
