Hey, Hippy Chick!

While I was outside, I noticed a hippy chick across the street mowing her lawn with one of those old push reel mowers. How environmentally correct.

Made me want to go crank up my 16.5 hp lawn tractor & yell "Hey, hippy chick! Here's how real women mow the lawn!"

LOL I use one of those old (but it's new) reel lawn mowers, but I have 20 acres. It's not that I'm envirnomentally correct, it's that I don't mess with motors while my hubby is gone.

That's different though. That actually makes sense.

I thought about suggesting that she run that thing over her damn legs...girl, you should've seen her.

I don't know if a reel type mower would work on a hippy chick's legs. When I was a kid I used one and had to mow pretty frequently or the mower just wouldn't cut it. The grass would just lay over and not get cut if it was too long. I think the hair on her legs would do the same thing.

I used one....just a few years ago. Only because we didn't have a gas or electric one. Heh. I was super prego at the time.

I went into full blown labor the next day.

Damn!! Now you've made me feel bad. I guess I had better buy the missus a power mower.

Ralph, sounds like she'd need a weedeater then.

Goddess, that sounds like something I'd do.

Gary, lawn tractors make great anniversary presents! Just ask Mike.

Rita practices "Zen and the art of lawn maintenence" when she mows.

The cost of that tractor is repaid every time I see her out there mowing dirt.

Hmmph! Lot less dirt and a lot more lawn since I started taking care of it.
