PSA

For all you who stopped by looking for the definition of "res ipsa loquitur", I just have one thing to say.

How's Torts class going?

I'm so glad I'm not you. BWAHAHAHAHA!

BTW, it means "the thing speaks for itself"....now go read your assigned case about the tragic fall of the killer barrel of flour.

I LOVED TORTS!!

Speaking of torts -- it's been while since we've heard anything from Master Sergeant John "Jack" Steele, Adjunct Professor of Law.

We might have to give Jim a bad time about that.

Tort class was just like hitting myself in the head with a hammer....it felt so good when I stopped. : )

You know you're right, Craig. I may have to threaten him with a post about the clowns we saw at the parade last week. Hmmm, I wonder if Mike got any photos of them?

Have to disagree w/ you, Rita. Property and Civ Pro were like hitting myeslf in the head with TWO hammers. :)

I LOVED Property. We spent weeks learning the nuances of adverse possession....then Arkansas completely re-wrote its adverse possession statutes a year later. Civ Pro was bearable, but again Arkansas changed most of its major rules the year after I graduated.

Which just goes to show you that the most important thing you learn in law school is how & where to look things up.

; )

Please NO CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!
Funny you should mention the barrel of flour case. If I ever get around to finishing the half-done next installment of Sgt. Steele, the one after that will put the Master Sergeant Adjunct Professor of Law back in the classroom, where one of the cases for the class will by Byrne v. Boadle.

Now, if I would just stop writing about stuff like basketball and peanut butter, maybe I could get around to finishing the next Sgt. Steele.

How did you know I was doing exactly that? I forgot my Black's law dictionary in the car...I am reading the notes on the "killer flour" case. spooky...
