Weird Dog I
Most people's dogs come running when they hear the can opener. Mine do too, but Sollie takes it one step further. He comes running when he hears me getting ice out of the ice maker....because he loves to eat ice cubes. See, I started giving him ice to chew on when he was a puppy & teething. Now he's addicted to them.
Not that that's particularly interesting....but it's weird.

My uncle had a Jack Russell Terrier that ate ice cubes all the time. Weird.

Our dogs are the same with the ice-maker.

Maybe it's not so weird then....we used to have a dog that we had to keep in a pen during strawberry season. Otherwise, she would get into the strawberry patch & eat every ripe strawberry she could find.

In my lifetime, I've had dogs who went nuts for ice cubes, cats who would take a run at you from behind and effectively flatten you for pretzels, and my last dog....sigh. She'd go absolutely ape over the rustling of a plastic bag from the freezer. She was addicted to frozen peas and carrots. (She carefully removed all lima beans and corn, though.)
