Network Enhancement

Our ISP took the network down last night for "enhancement", cheerfully predicting to have us back online by 5 a.m.

You guessed it.

It just now came back up.....right after I got tired of waiting & hooked up the dial-up account.

Never fails, just like lighting a cigarette in a restaurant makes your food magically appear.

I have occasional trouble with the GPS (satellite positioning) system which is part of the instrument suite I use for drive testing the cellular network. Today I went out, and altho I was able to confirm that one particular problem had responded to the change we'd made, I could not get a position fix which I needed for my other tasks. I drove back to the office, and ran in for the spare GPS. Sure enough, the unit in the Jeep had locked on in that interval, and gave me no more trouble.

You're the "Can you hear me now? Good!" guy aren't you?

Hey, reckon you could fix some of the dead spots 'round Fayetteville....like the one on the Township St. hill between College & Old Wire Road where I get dropped by the tower every freaking time I drive through there.
