Like A Canary
Saddam is reportedly starting to give it up.
"Saddam has confessed the names of people he told to keep the money and he gave names of those who have information on equipment and weapons warehouses," Iyad Allawi, a member of the U.S.-appointed Iraqi Governing Council, told the London-based Asharq al-Awsat daily.
The money, up to an estimated $40 billion dollars, is thought to be hidden in accounts in Switzerland, Japan, Germany and a few other countries. Seizure of those funds ought to have the Palis & the other like-minded groups crying in their beer.
Saddam's interrogators are now trying to find out info about any "relationship between him and terrorist organizations and on funds paid to groups outside Iraq".
Just a matter of time.
