I'm With Him

David has done an excellent job reminding us all how fortunate we are.

Thank you, God, for America. Good, bad, and ugly, America is Beautiful and I am kissing the American soil that I was born and raised on. Thank you God for hospitals that you emerge from without being raped or shot while you're inside. Thank you God for being able to dial 911 and know that someone who knows what they're doing will not be far away. Thank you God for firefighters, paramedics, police and soldiers, doctors and nurses.

Go read why we should be thankful.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR MILITARY IN 2004

Thank you, God, for the men and women who have lived in the past and helped to make this country great and strong. Thank you for the willingness of Gen. George Washington to make great personal sacrifices during the war with England, so that we might win our freedom, and for all those brave ment who fought, and died, at his side.

Thank you for our Military, the men and women who are laying their lives and careers on the line for us now in the mid-East, those who may be scared when confronted by danger, but do not waver and stand strong to face it and defeat it.

May our prayers follow them wherever they go, and whenever they are called upon to face the enemy.

And, in February, we will celebrate the Birthdays of George Washing and Abraham Lincoln, so let us think upon them and give thanks.

We also might ask our Congress to return President's Day to its' rightful owners and call it: Washington/Lincoln Day. There were two holidays specificly to honor them, and we should return this single holiday to them in Name, as well as Honor.
