Old Timers
Two Benton Co. men tried to settle a property line dispute the old-fashioned way.
Richard Paul Stock, 79, was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest after his neighbor, 66-year-old Keith Boldt, dialed 911 and told police that Stock had pointed a gun at his head and threatened to shoot him after the pair had a disagreement over a shared property line. In his statement to police, Boldt said that after threatening to shoot him, Stock had struck him in the neck with the barrel of either a rifle or shotgun.
Like I said, the quickest way to piss off a hillbilly is to mess with his property. And this guy was apparently pissed off to the highest point of piss-tivity.
First at the scene, Lt. Jesse Martinez, an officer with the Little Flock Police Department, said that when he arrived at the Boldt home, Stock was trying to leave the area in a Chevy Blazer. When confronted, the elderly man refused an order to get on the ground and became increasingly belligerent, leading to a scuffle that injured the officer’s left knee. "He kept reaching down for something in his vehicle," Martinez said. "He’s a tough old man — it eventually took four of us and some pepper foam to subdue him."
4 deputies and pepper foam to subdue a 79 yr old man.
That's one pissed off hillbilly.

The article in the BCR mentioned that the old boy only had his gun with him because he had got back from squirrel hunting that afternoon.
