Moderately Interesting

Today's Friday Five:

You have just won one million dollars:

1. Who do you call first? My CPA. Duh.

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself? The first thing I would do would be pay off my car & credit cards. Then I'd buy an unlisted number. Other than a house with a fenced yard so I don't have to walk the dogs every morning at 5 a.m., I can't think of anything else expensive that I want.

3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else? I'd buy Mike that honking huge plasma screen tv/monitor he's been drooling over for the last year.

4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom? Hell no. Let 'em buy their own lottery ticket. Seriously, I'd probably set up a scholarship fund for my alma mater's Honors program. For all its leftist, liberal, post-modernist leanings, it's still a good program.....and I could pay back all the money they gave me when I was there.

5. Do you invest any? If so, how? Definitely. But I'd want to talk to a financial planner and my CPA before deciding in what I'd invest.

What would you do?

I'd install a giant pool, then fill it with whipped cream. I'd build a pump so that fresh whipped cream were circulating at all times. When it would begin to spoil I'd have it hauled away and new cream brought in.

There goes my million.

But really, whipped cream is SO good for the skin, you wouldn't believe. Plus, I can't swim so I'd need something that would help me float, like whipped cream.

Oooo, hot tub. I didn't even think about that. Definitely, definitely would buy a hot tub.
