Terrible about the dog, but relationship stories such as this always remind me of the following joke - What's the difference between Herpes and True Love? Herpes lasts forever.

Dogs are generally pretty good judges of character. I'd bet this one made it plain what he thought of this crazy chick.

Ok Mike said it was due to mistaking fear for love. Other guys have told me it was because they thought they could 'fix' her problems or because they thought she was 'exciting'.
Excitement like that I can do without.
