New Dark Ages Coming?

Niall Ferguson has a sobering article about what may happen if the ultra-liberals' dreams come true. If history shows us anything, it is to be careful what you wish for.

There's some dark days ahead for us all, I fear.

Comments

I was sort of bummed out after I read your statement and the the accompanying article yesterday, and any possible comments that surfaced seemed almost fatalistic. This morning I was having coffee by the pond, sort of spaced out and watching these incredibly acrobatic little birds scoop up water and snatch up insects, and suddenly I realized, you don't fear for yourself. Your fears are for the weak, disabled, and dangerously oblivious among our population. In fact, I have the feeling that any darkness that appears at your door is in for some seriously Blinding White Light, in any or all of its many forms.

Also, although I do understand the potential for dark ages and dire possibilities that hovers over us, I love these times. Never have so many been so well informed or so able to perform well.
