Yikes

Michelle Malkin has spoken to someone who confirmed much of the Annie Jacobson story.

Now there may be a perfectly innocent explanation for the events that happened on that flight as she described, but still.

Pretty freaking scary.

I have felt secure about flying post 9-11 because of the "General Militia of Flight 93," the reaction of the passengers and crew to the “Shoe Bomber,” and the assurance given to a friend who is a flight attendant that several pilots have said they will not allow their plane to be commandeered by hijackers. Even though everyone lived happily ever after in Jacobsen's story, it still shook my feeling of security.

We've not had any problems, but we have noticed a substantial decline in the professionalism/effectiveness of the security personnel. They now appear to pick people for searches based on who will be the least amount of trouble to search.

I agree with you Rita. I was once singled out in Boston because I had the least carry-on luggage and the plane was late. Little did they know how many wires and gizmos I used to travel with...imagine trying to explain what they all did to a security officer with the IQ of a lettuce.
