Happy Anniversary--Here's Your Dumpster

In keeping with our tradition of non-traditional anniversary gifts, Mike rented me an industrial-sized dumpster (20'x8'x4') for our 4th wedding anniversary Thursday. So we're spending the holiday weekend getting rid of our industrial-sized pile of junk that's accumulated over the last 4 years.

I know, not very exciting, but I think it's cool. And so does Mike, since he's been wanting a fancy new BBQ grill/smoker and I balked until we got rid of the junk so we would have someplace to put it out of the weather.

Quid pro quo. That's what marriage is all about, innit?

Happy Anniversary! Perhaps for your Fifth, you can exchange fan belts.

Rita, although Refuge is an excellent book (I love the Great Salt Lake and the Geology of Utah), and I'm glad I read it, I researched Mrs. Williams today looking for something else to read (there is plenty) and find her political position to be a serious turn-off. Of course asking an environmentalist how she feels about drilling in the Artic is like asking someone participating in a revival how they feel about religion, but I'm sick enough of "Bush is destroying the world" statements that I may just throw her out the window with the Dixie Chicks and Pearl Jam.

Actually Jim, I think he just promised me a Brake Job for my birthday next month.

Thanks for the warning, Kenneth. The book still sounds interesting. I'd rather ask environmentalists a fun question like "Did you know that eating soy is destroying more of the rain forest than logging?" It's so much fun to watch their heads spin.
