Fashion Panic
I have a lawyering job interview today at 1:30......and nothing to wear. It's not that I don't have any professional-type suits. But they were bought back several years ago in my thyroid-problem fashion model skinny days. And as I just discovered, I'm not as skinny as an anorexic/bulemic anymore. Not that that's a bad thing. It's not. It's just....*brief scream of panic*....I have a job interview in a few hours and I don't have a damn thing to wear.
Which brings up another problem. I have a couple of hours to find something, but I like suits like this. Last time I looked, the stores were filled with crap that looked like dress-up day for high-dollar hookers.
Not exactly my style.
Maybe I can find something suitable in the old ladies' section.
After all, nobody wants to see an 80 yr. old's cleavage.

I realize it's a day late, but I hope you found something in time. I like those A-line skirts, too. Luckily, there are tons of stores here in Manhattan with items for sale for not a lot of money. Don't know what your part of Arkansas has to offer on the fly.

I did, barely. Basic business suit in a lovely shade of rust. I felt like a big ol' punkin, but Mike said it looked good.
We're tentatively planning a trip to Manhattan next year. I love to shop there. It's pretty hard to find anything out of the ordinary here.
