Life Intrudes

Life has been a series of constant interruptions and small crises, including but not limited to WildChild's opening the front door yesterday before his dad could catch him & letting the dogs out. Sollie was recaptured before he could make it out of the yard; Sassy was not. My son finally tracked her down & got her in his car and safely back home. WildChild got a lecture about not opening the door when someone knocks and grounded from the computer for the afternoon.

Which meant that everytime I tried to do some of my dangerously overdue homework, I got bombarded with "Whachoo doin' Ma? Typing my name? Typing your name? I type my name. I want in your lap. My turn to type my name. I do my homework your 'puter."

"Go bug your daddy, kid."

"No. I talkin' you."

*sigh*

I don't know how you guys with small kids get anything done. You must not sleep much.

WildChild's going home Thursday afternoon (and I don't know how I'm going to handle that one since he absolutely refuses to go anywhere without his Daddy). And my son's headed back to Okinawa Saturday morning. So regular posting should return soon.

Thanks for your patience.
