Total California Experience

Just to complete our total California experience, we just had an earthquake. I was sitting here surfing the net for local beaches when the table started shaking. Then the entire building started shaking. Nothing major, but enough to wake everyone else up. Initial reports are putting the epicenter NNE of here, magnitude around 5.5.

Totally tubular, dudes.

It's just not a trip to California until someone's mattress dumps them on the floor in the middle of the night. :-)

Quick subject change: I made a nice pitcher of Southern Sweet Tea this afternoon, using your specifications. (Did it with a Mr Coffee, though. Don't have a pyrex pan.)

Oh my lord this stuff is going to give me a heart attack or at least a good caffeine attack I love it so.

Whee!

My dad says it's good 'n good for you. lol A Mr. Coffee will work just fine. I don't think you can even buy those pyrex coffee pot things anymore that my mother has.

Now you know why Mike swears my ice tea is illegal in Oklahoma. I have to cut it with water or I get quite a caffeine/sugar buzz. ;-)

I heard about that yesterday. We've been watching our skies for tornado's the last week or so. Tornado season is pretty much March through May. We got none. We've had 7 nights since June 1 with Tornado warnings. Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature to read the calendar!

Glad it was just a 5.5 and you just a had a bit of shaky!

We managed to dodge all the storms on the way home last night, except for one outside of Siloam Springs. And even it wasn't too major, just some heavy rain & lightning. At least we were flying into Tulsa, where they don't get all freaked out about tornadoes unless one's headed directly for the airport. Unlike say the stupid DENVER airport, which grounded all flights for the night including ours just because there was a little F2 tornado over 35 miles away. Heading AWAY from the airport. Oooo, scary. *rolls eyes*
