Plame Leak Links

I'll stop beating this dead horse after this post, but here are a couple of sources which allege that Plame's cover was blown in the mid 1990's. See here and here.

The more I read about this, the more I'm convinced she's like Norm from Cheers....you know, she walks into a room & everyone yells "Plame!"

Not covert. Not protected by law. Not even very interesting at this point.

The end.

Comments

On the other hand, this story comments that she was still believed to be covert.

Hey, I'm no big fan of Rove either. I just haven't seen any evidence he did anything illegal...or that anyone else did either.

A lot of political shenanigans on both sides yes, but nothing illegal. The CIA often has its own agenda, you know.

I don't know, it gets even more interesting. Bloomberg is reporting Fitzgerald is investigating whether or not Rove and Libby gave false statements. This brings up memories of "it's not the sex, it's that he lied about it." If they're innocent, then drop this. If they're guilty, then throw the book at 'em.

I agree. They need to charge somebody or drop it. If they haven't found enough to charge someone by now, they're probably not going to.
