Just What We Need

UPDATE: Thanks to the commenter who wants to 'virtually punch me in the face' I discovered AOL has a poll up about Hanoi Jane. At the moment, "She's a traitor" is leading with 52%, and in the second category, 73% "don't take her seriously at all".

ROTF LMAO There's hope for this country yet....even for AOL users on their MAC's in Los Angeles, CA.

Voting is still open, BTW.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Some people just have to prove there's no fool like an old fool.

Actress and activist Jane Fonda said she intends to take a cross-country bus tour to call for an end to U.S. military operations in Iraq.

Fonda said her antiwar tour in March will use a bus that runs on "vegetable oil." She will be joined by families of Iraq war veterans and her daughter.

Hey, maybe she can hook up with Elvis in Fayetteville.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't piss in her mouth if her throat was on fire. And I wouldn't slap her, because shit splatters.

I rilly, rilly despise her, can you tell?

join the crowd

Maybe we need to have a Anti Jane protest ....

Nah, that'd just reinforce that little fantasy land she lives in....brave little Janie, coming out of retirement because 'the people' need her help to fight against repression by The Man. Unless....hmmm.

We could all dress up like clowns & go point & laugh at her.

Don't mind me. I'm having a particularly cranky day.

And I'm still trying to figure out how the hell she's going to get enough 'vegetable oil' to drive that stupid bus cross-country. Is she too stupid to realize that it probably takes more oil/energy to process that than gasoline?

Being old enough to remember this brainless twit's antics in the sixties, and having been in service at that time, I sleep well at night knowing without a shred of doubt that this woman has the blood of Americans on her hands. She is scum.

I wasn't old enough to be in the service, but I remember her wartime antics very well....as well as the way my dad would come absolutely unglued every time he saw her on tv. He thought she should've be prosecuted as a traitor.

Can't say as I disagree.

i'd love to give you a virtual punch in the face for that, i fully support jane fonda, jane you rock!

Why settle for virtual? Name a place, anytime you think you're big enough.

I'd love to rock Jane's world. I've got a lot of rocks out in the yard.

Hate that bitch.

Keith, honey, that'd be a waste of a perfectly good rock....just like that one guy wasted a perfectly good wad of spit.

Besides, I don't advocate nor condone violence against Hanoi Jane in any manner, shape or form. Ridicule yes, prosecution yes. But not assault.

You did notice that her suddenly rediscovered conscience appeared after her new movie & book came out, didn't you?

I'm sure that bus will be a real misery to ride in too. Probably better furnished, have better electronics and more creature comforts than my entire house. She'll probably use more energy in her bus tour than we use in 3 months (not even counting the vegetable oil stuff).

No kidding, ours too. It's going to be a whole of money wasted by a group of people trying to re-live their 'glory days'. But then there's always been those with more money than sense.

Funny how you rarely seen anyone like that who has to actually work for a living.

Posted by: Rita [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 26, 2005 03:27 AM

It's okay, Rita. I wouldn't actually hit her with a rock. Wouldn't want to damage the rock.

And yes, I did notice that all this visibility started simultaneously with her resurrected movie career. So noble of her, shilling her product on the backs of the Armed Forces.

Like I said, hate that bitch. I'd call her the C word, but I won't pollute your blog with such language.

Posted by: Keith at July 26, 2005 10:43 AM

Oh go ahead, call her a Cow. I won't mind. There are certain similarities you know. Cows are too dumb to know they're dumb. And you should see one what's been in the locoweed.

Wooooo, dogies!
