It took most of the afternoon, but.....WE ARE HOMEOWNERS! Yay!

Honestly, I'm still not sure if we're excited, terrified or both.

Now the real work starts, moving all our crap.

Thanks! It's just what we wanted, a quiet little house on a quiet little street....with a huge back yard for Mike's honking big gas grill he wants to get. lol

Not yet Matt, but yes, the new house is in B-ville....conveniently located between the fairgrounds & the downtown square. No more braving the Dale Earnhart Memorial Expressway for us!

Thanks Bogie! Once we get settled, I'll be looking to you for gardening tips. There's a corner in the front that appears to have once been a rock garden under all that grass. I'm planning to get it back to something fairly low maintenance. And you're my expert on rock gardens.

Thanks Bob! I'll e-mail you our new address & phone as soon as we get moved, which won't be for 2-3 weeks prolly. Just think, now we have enough room so that when you guys visit, you can actually walk through the house without tripping over the dogs. Isn't that exciting?

WOOHOO! Congrats, Rita! We did it 3 years ago, and the feeling that "ownership" brings is just incredible. Scary, sometimes, it's true -- but overwhelmingly positive.

Absolutely Keith, there's a huge back yard that should be enough for the dogs and maybe a little garden spot for us too.
