This, That & the Other
--Yes my birthday is in a couple of weeks, but really you shouldn't have. You shouldn't worry too much though. After all, I'll be 45.....how much damage could I do?
--Airless paint sprayers work much better with the pitcock valve installed. In case you were wondering.
--Smokey has figured out it doesn't really hurt when Samantha attacks him (she's been declawed). So now he's pestering the hell out of her trying to get her to play with him. Last night he was bugging her and she tried to jump onto the bathroom laundry hamper (and from there into the window) to get away from him. Mid-jump he goosed her in the butt....which startled her so badly she missed the hamper & fell into the bathtub. She got all huffy when I couldn't stop laughing at her.
--Anyone know of a good used appliance store locally? We're switching everything from electric to gas, and looking to do some trading. I swear, I can't imagine why anyone would want an all-electric house in this area. When, not if, the power goes out in the winter you're screwed. No heat, no cooking, no hot water....and frozen pipes.
--BTW, anyone need a good desk? I'll sell you my old office desk cheap. No reasonable offer refused.
--In addition to moving boxes, I have to drop off a pulse-oxygen monitor today....a delightful little device which clamps on the end of your finger & records your blood oxygen level & pulse rate while you try to sleep with something clamped on the end of your finger. The neurologist wanted to check me for sleep apnea. *rolls eyes* You know, Mike's listened to me snore every night for more than 5 years. I think he would know if I had sleep apnea or not. And I don't.
Furthermore, free or not, I absolutely refuse to have one more ridiculous unnecessary medical test run. I have had it with doctors coming up with totally off the wall possible causes for my present problems while ignoring the painfully obvious. And God help the next one who suggests another test. He or she is going to get an earful.
And maybe a punch in the nose.

Appliances?
Tuckers in Rogers over off 62 by the Skating Rink. Got my Washer and Dryer there 2 years ago from $100 a piece.
Gas? Love it. Same reason I have it ;) That and you can get a small generator that will run your refridgerator and your blower for your heater pretty easily.
Birthday? Mines in 2 days. If I don't have a heart attack before then *grin*
Desk, boxes- No thanks. I need to have a yard sale so bad I could taste it. problem is, as you've seen, the traffic ccoming by my house is so over whelming it'll sell in minutes *cough cough*
Anyway take care! I'm still here...just....busy...and...sleepy...

Thanks, I'll check them out.
I can't believe no one wants my good desk. If I weren't so tired of moving the heavy thing I'd just keep it....though we don't really have room for it. Maybe if I leave it out on the carport for a few days someone will steal it.

Desk?!?!?
Email us, we might take it.
Having just watched the Weather Channel, I didn't really believe that Hurricane Rita was on the move. Apparently I was wrong.

Ok, email is on its way. I would feel better about getting rid of it knowing it was going to a good home.
Haven't checked yet this morning, but last I heard, I am going to slam the Keys sometime in the next couple of days. Which sounds about like me, as I've never liked Key West anyway.
