Highway Funnies

Saw the funniest thing while driving to Fayetteville this morning. A pickup full of road workers was parked on the shoulder. As I approached, one of the workers, carrying a weed eater, jumped onto the lowered tailgate. As the truck took off, the guy slide right off the tailgate and landed flat on his ass....never turning loose of the weed eater. I couldn't help it; I just had to laugh. At least I didn't honk & point.

There was also a bad wreck on I-540 this morning, which wasn't funny since the driver was killed. But the video clip of the people trying to round up the numerous 400+lb. escaped hogs sure is. Go check it out.

Soooo-ie!

Haven't they heard of rattling a pan of grain? They'll follow you anywhere for that.

But then again maybe not, 400 pound hogs might just trample a person if they thought there was grain involved.

I don't know if I'd want to wave a pan of grain in front of that many hogs. I can't run that fast these days. ;-)
