Abuse Victim Dies

The elderly lady I posted about previously has died. Her son, who's in jail on felony adult abuse charges, may now be facing murder charges. As well he should, if the allegations are true. And DHS, who'd visited in early November 'investigating' a complaint of abuse, has some explaining to do as well.

This didn't happen overnight you know.

What I don't understand is why no one noticed it sooner. She'd been visited by neighbors, DHS and Meals on Wheels. How could you not smell that?
