My darling husband wrote the following on the grocery list:

"Popeye's G.F."

The first person who can correct identify what we need to buy wins a big fat nothing prize.

I'm surely not the only one who had no idea what he meant.

HAAAH! I have it! It took my doddering old New Orleans brain a few minutes, especially because there were several nicknames for Popeyes on those old commercials back home. But I am going to now put to you:

Popeye's Golden Friend Chicken

Ok, must be a guy thing. Robert wins the big fat nothing prize because he had the first correct answer. It is, in fact, olive oil.

Miss Vicky, however, wins the prestigious Great Minds Think Alike prize. That's exactly what I thought he meant. Popeye's chicken. Then I thought 'why the hell did he put that on the grocery list?'

Sheesh. Last night I meant to say Popeye's Golden Fried Chicken, not golden friend chicken. Must have been the prednisone reacting with the wine. :-/
