PSA
If you are willing to publicly admit buying any of these listed CD's, you too might be part of the Sony rootkit settlement.
Did anyone really buy any of that crap?

George Jones - My Very Special Guests. It's a great cd. You must be feeling better and that's great also.

I seem to remember a scam (haven't snoped it) a while back about porno films, where people would buy a "porno" film, but it wouldn't be a porno film.
The people would then demand their money back, which the company happily sent refund checks with the longest rudest pornoest company name you can imagine.
Most of which didn't get cashed.
All of which to say, thank heavens I don't have to admit I own any of those albums.

The only one I'd even consider is the Leo Kottke album. I say "consider" because I would consider it, and then decide not to bother.
Man, there's a lot of CRAP in that list.

I DID check the Velvet Revolver cd out from the library. What a boring album. And the rootkit stuff didn't have any capabilities on my Mac.
Keith - 1
Sony - 0

I must've missed the George Jones one Kenneth....I don't know that I'd actually buy it but it sounds pretty good. And yes, thanks, I am starting to feel semi-human again.
Craig that reminds me of the folks who used to ask us to endorse their checks with something other than the liquor store name. The funny thing was most of them were more worried about the bank personnel finding out than their spouses. Like the bank clerks had nothing better to do than to check out how much Billy Bob was spending on booze each week.
Keith, the fact that one of the top songs in the nation has been "Don't You Wish Your Girlfriend Was a Skank Like Me" is pretty much why I stopped buying CD's AND listening to the radio.
