Good News
The stolen VA laptop has been recovered.
The government has recovered the stolen laptop computer and hard drive containing sensitive data for up to 26.5 million veterans and military personnel, Veterans Affairs Secretary Jim Nicholson said Thursday.
The FBI said data on veterans, military personnel in the recovered laptop computer was not accessed after it was stolen.
The bigger issue now is which dumbass gave permission for this employee to take this data home. Because that was really stupid.

It's called 'encryption' boys. If you're going to insist on doing dumb shit like this, you might want to look into it.
It'd be better than nothing anyway.
