Of Mice and Men
By now I'm sure you've heard about Osama's newest tape.
Bin Laden refers to al-Zarqawi as "one of our greatest knights and one of our best emirs (leaders)," and adds, "We were very happy to find in him a symbol and role model for our future generations."
Given what I saw on the 'Zarqawi Uncensored' video, I've a pretty good idea what kind of knight he was....and what his last words were.
Color me unimpressed.
Actually though, if I were casting a movie about those two, I think I'd pick these two to play them. The dialogue might go something like:
Zarqawi: What are we going to do today, Osama?
Osama: The same thing we do every day, Zarqawi. Try To Take Over The World! er, I mean, Kill The Infidels!
Or maybe this:
Osama: Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Zarqawi?
Zarqawi: I think so Osama, but this time YOU have to put the burka on the camel. Narf!
Practically writes itself.

It must be horrible to try so hard and still be ignored. Meanwhile, the American public has decided to significantly increase the billions per year that we spend on ---- our dog and cat companions! Hi Rita

Hi Kenneth how's things out New Mexico way?
I think the reaction to the Zarqawi video was worse than being ignored. Nothing like having the whole world laughing at you.
I confess I'm guilty of part of that increase, what with the heartworm protection & flea repellent these 4 go through. OTOH, they were so protective of me after the surgery that I think it's money well spent. Even as I write this, I'm being guarded by a cat on one side and a large dog on the other.
