It's Hot
100 degrees in the shade, according to our thermometer. But not quite as hot as it was a little over a quarter century ago today....when my daughter was born.
Pregnant plus triple digit temps is no fun....especially when you've no air conditioning.
Trust me.

I really don't know how people did it without air conditioners. Heck, I complain as I go from my air conditioned home to my air conditioned car to my air condition job.

Shoot, I didn't have air conditioning anywhere until the early 90's. I could still survive without it, but I'd rather not.
