Don't Do It Al
Soylent green is people, man.
How does one become 'carbon neutral' anyway?

Last year Mr. and Mrs. Gore bought a condo at the St. Regis in San Francisco, and although it doesn't mention them specifically, one of the magazine articles promoting the site seems somewhat skewed from the path of a really sincerely devoted child of the earth. "Ultra-Wealthy Enjoy Living in Luxury Above It All in S.F. Highrise hotel condos are the latest trend". So am I seriously jaded or rightfully cynical?

Rightfully cynical I'd say. Just his flying all over the country like he does has got to rack up some serious carbon debits. I don't see how it would be even possible to offset that, let alone all his other perks.
I took their little carbon use quiz. Not surprisingly I was middle useage. The quiz primarily focuses on how much you travel, heat/cool your home, and trash generated. It doesn't factor in things like use of manufactured items or food....both of which use substantial amounts of energy and generate pollutants.
Just another way for the ultra-rich to assuage their guilt for being wealthy.
