Ssssh!
Don't tell anyone, but...
I may have a new job. Should know for sure in a week or so, but looks velly promising. As in tailor-made for me, PLUS the office is only a couple of blocks from our house. Can't beat that with a stick, as my dad would say.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Does it come with a Blue Vest?
And you get to welcome all your new clientèle and offer them portable devices with which for them to temporarily transport goods that they will purchase from your company after you welcome them heartily?
*grin*
In all seriousness congratulations!

Nope, that was my last job. When I wasn't busy checking, I did everything from door greeter to cart bitch to cleaning lady....mostly because I hate standing around with nothing to do. :-)
No congrats yet cuz I'm not a definite hire. But I took it as reasonably likely. He was excited when he got my resume he said because he thought I would fit rilly well in one of their open positions. And I was excited when I found out the details of the position. Not quite as good as baby stealing, but close. Very close.

They called this afternoon to ask if I could come in tomorrow for a final interview. I was told yesterday it would be at least 1 week so that's a good sign, right? So keep your fingers crossed tomorrow. Sure it'll make it hard to type, but that's what friends are for.
Mike, OTOH, is already shopping for the big screen TV I promised we could buy when I went back to work full-time. What, him worry?

Thanks! Today is make or break. I have another interview Friday with different department if this one doesn't work out.
But I'd much rather have this job.
