A Lifetime's Not Enough
10 years isn't either, according to an appellate court.
The punishment wasn't harsh enough, for a woman who rented her nine-year-old daughter to a pedophile more than 200 times.
A federal appeals court in St. Louis is throwing out the ten-year sentence that was given to the woman -- who typically was paid 20-dollars by the pedophile so that he could molest the girl. According to court documents, she often held the child down in their home while the man molested her.
Her excuse? Mental illness & drug use. (You know drug use, the victimless crime. /s)
Yeah cry me a river. I've seen too many of those last-minute sudden 'rehabilitations'. I'm a little skeptical of their authenticity.
Or maybe that should be cynical.

10 years?
That's it?
I knew from when I was up there earlier this year that the Crime rate in St Louis was nuts, but thats pathetic.
Haven't these folks heard of a firing squad?
Frankly thats too good in my opinion.

The molester only got 15, which is almost as bad.
Be interesting to see what the lower court gives her on remand.

That kind of stuff makes me want to push people into a giant shredder.

It also makes me want to punch people in the mouth when they say drug use is a victimless crime.
