Silver Lining

There's one good thing about it being so cold (10 degrees, wind chill 1 degree) this morning even the Akita doesn't want to stay outside. It doesn't take Sollie long to take care of bidness & run back inside....instead of his usual take 15 minutes to select a pee spot.

Right now Sollie & Smokey are slumped up against the kitchen heat vent, looking like a couple of Bowery Bums on a subway grate.

Slackers.

On the other hand, absolutely nothing will be attacking you through that vent.

That's for sure. I'd never thought of it that way. So when the cat blocks one and the dog blocks the only other vent, it's just for my safety. Riiight. lol
