Another Snow Day
I told Mike this morning I was starting to like this whole working-for-the-gummint thing. When I was in private practice, I couldn't stay home when it snowed b/c everyone else who was snowed in would get bored and Hey! Let's call our lawyer and check on our case!
We've about 3 inches of snow so far, and Round 2 is supposedly on its way. Pics here, including our silly Akita, who was trying to get me to play her favorite game "I throw the ball, she fetches the ball & drops it in the deep hole to China she's digging, I retrieve the ball from the bottom of the hole & repeat ad infinitum". When I wouldn't play, she decided to just run around & roll in the snow....another favorite pasttime.
Crazy dog.

A Snow Day? For 3 inches? Where are you, Washington, DC?
When I was living in Chicago, it would have taken about 3 feet to get out of work.

Unlike Chicago or DC, it's not exactly the flatlands here in NW Arkansas. They were closing streets & roads last night so they could get all the wrecks cleared. No one was seriously injured that I heard of, but there were a lot of fender-benders & watch-me-slide-into-the-median-in-my-four-wheel-drives.
