Interesting to read about it in the papers there and read and see in the news here. They didn't bother to talk to the mother here, because everyone that knew her son, knew he was a POS. Usually he attacked and robbed other Ticos and got away with it. And she admitted as much. That makes her complicit after the fact. The consensus is basically "Good riddence to bad rubbish."
