Godspeed M'ijo
In a few short hours, my son will be winging his way to warmer climes, i.e., The Big Sandbox.
Wish him well.

Wow, I had no idea.
Good luck to him and his mother's nerves.

Thanks Matt. I expect to go completely grey in the next 6 months. He tells me he'll be working in a clinic in a relatively safe area.
*shrugs*
That may even be true.

I ditto Matt's thought. Either way we've got your back here on the home front for what it's worth :)
And hey, having two prior service guys in your court ain't a bad thing!

Hang in there! Thank your son for his service and thank you for bringing such an outstanding person to the world.

Thanks guys. I'm sure he'll be fine. He's probably safer there than when he's been driving to work in San Diego every day.
