Earf Day
So we planted a dogwood this weekend. Not for Earf Day as WildChild called it, but to block the afternoon sun from streaming in the living room window & heating it up. Save money, not the environment. We also planted 3 tomato plants & a rosebush. WildChild was happy to help, cuz is there anything a 6 yr. old boy likes better than digging in the dirt?
Except for dinosaurs, that is. And we saw one of those too. A fake one, touring to promote some movie. We had our picture taken with it as well, and WildChild wasn't scared at all but was VERY BRAVE just like he said he would be.
And very funny. We were starting to leave when he asked "Ma, where does that dinosaur pee?"
Anywhere he wants to, son, anywhere he wants.
