Misheard Earworm
WildChild starting singing along with a commercial for Huckleberry Hound this morning:
Oh my darlin'
Oh my darlin'
Oh my darlin'
Whats-her-name
And he's been singing it like that ever since.
Heehee.

Interesting how much that reminds me of springtime on the farm. It captures that 'can't wait to wake up early and do something even if it's wrong' spring attitude.

That was a great feeling wasn't it? Warm weather, everything growing and the knowledge school would be out soon. Which was, in my case, tempered by the knowledge that soon freaking strawberries would ripen leading to seemingly endless days of backbreaking labor in the strawberry patches.
I still don't care much for strawberries.

So, I imagine that song is constantly running through your mind now.
